Decaf Before Death is the "coolest new subscription on the block" according to Lance Hedrick! We started as the first subscription in the world focused on exceptional decaf and low caf coffee... We don't do subs anymore but we still source caffeine conscious coffee! Join us if you want to enjoy exceptional decaf coffee. Choose how you want to explore:

We source and roast delicious decaf in small batches. Always freshly roasted and featuring rare coffees like the first EA decaf gesha and Nestor Lasso's Ombligon decaf. 

  • Hard-to-find coffees that we carefully source directly or by collaborating with importers who value decaf
  • Roast to order. We roast to order in small batches so your coffee is always fresh.
  • We prefer lighter roasts and try our best to maintain origin characteristics and avoid roasty notes.

    Great first coffee from first Discovery box

    Received by Discovery Box some time back and only just managed to try one coffee after the required rest time. The one I tried was the El Paraiso thermal shock decaf. It was AMAZING. What a start to hopefully a long subscription!

    Amazing decaf coffe experience

    I’ve been drinking decaf for a long time, and the flavors I’ve experienced with this Discovery Box are top-notch. I’ve never tried a decaf like this before. The 'Hydrangea' blend, in particular, has such a rich and unique flavor—it’s truly exceptional.

    In addition to the coffee, you also receive detailed instructions and fun stickers, which really enhance the overall experience. Highly recommended!

    Just an outstanding coffee, which has none of the negative flavours often associated with decaf. Tasty, sweet, and loads of flavours to discover depending on brew method!

    What a coffee?! The flavours in this coffee are ridiculous, incredible. This is not only an amazing decaf, it is an amazing coffee, period.

    Good sweet decaf

    Well balanced sweet coffee, brewed it in v60. It is definitely step up from average decaf. I like to trick my friends in tasting it and praising how good is the coffee before telling it is decaf
